HALCYON WAY biography: Halcyon Way is Atlanta's premiere hevy metal band. Known for their explosive live shows, instantly catchy melodies, precise vocal harmonies, incendiary guitar work, intricate yet pounding drums, and live props and showmanship hearkening back to the glory days of arena rock, they dominate the local live scene. After releasing a string of EP's the band finally released its debut full length album, "A Manifesto For Domination", in 2008 through Nightmare Records worldwide. Produced by guitarist Jon Bodan with assistance from James Murphy (Testament, Death, Obituary, etc.), the album received rave reviews. In 2009 the band did a full scaled UK tour as support to shock rocker / wrestler Fozzy, and then returned to the US in order to once again enter the studio for the next album. Produced by Halcyon Way and Lasse Lammert (Alestorm, Svartsot), "Building The Towers" features the 10 best songs the band has ever written, superb performances by all involved, including new vocalist Steve Braun (formerly of Italy's Ashent) and guest vocalist Pamela Moore (yes, Sister Mary from Queensryche's "Operation Mindcrime"). Topped by a stunning artwork courtesy of Travis Smith (Nevermore, Opeth etc.), the album comes across as nothing but a masterpiece in the making.
